This beginners Procreate tutorial started as an introduction for a friend of mine. She was finding it hard to find a simple tutorial that just went over the basics. This tutorial will go over importing artwork to draw over, picking brushes to draw with, layers, coloring, and just a few other tricks and tips! During the tutorial, I will be inking the lines and coloring this image:
I also include some design tips when digitally drawing! So this tutorial is even more perfect if you are looking to draw characters, especially female fantasy characters, like fairies, elves, and pixies.
The only material you need to follow-along is an iPad that has the Procreate App downloaded. That’s it!
